One of the most well known traditions at FSU is the Tennessee Waltz. When a student turns 21, they gather a group of friends, choose a party theme, dress accordingly and then get wasted at the bars on the Tennessee strip in Tallahassee. Most bars give the birthday boy or girl free shots. Personally, I like the Wednesday open mike at the Warehouse bar. It's not a Greek hangout and attracts a more artistic crowd. The first night I went there, I was lucky enough to get a solo spot playing songs I wrote on the piano.
